Aditi, Director and Clinical Advisor at The Interval, Singapore

Aditi Chakravarti

Director & Clinical Advisor

Aditi is a Principal Speech-Language Therapist and Audiologist with more than 20 years of experience across healthcare, education and multidisciplinary therapy services in Singapore and New Zealand. At The Interval, she draws on her clinical and leadership background to advise on developmental needs, safeguarding and coordinated support involving young people, families, schools and healthcare professionals.

Before joining The Interval, Aditi served as Head of Therapy and Pastoral Care at an international school in Singapore, leading a multidisciplinary team of speech-language therapists, occupational therapists, behavioural therapists, psychologists and counsellors. This experience gave her a broad understanding of how communication, neurodevelopment, learning, emotional wellbeing and family circumstances can overlap, often requiring more than one professional perspective.

As the school's Designated Safeguarding Lead, Aditi also oversaw student safeguarding matters and worked closely with families, school professionals and external agencies. These responsibilities strengthened her understanding of the complexities families encounter when a young person's needs span educational, developmental, emotional and relational concerns.

At The Interval, Aditi's advisory role focuses on helping parents understand their young person's developmental and broader support needs, and facilitating collaboration with schools and healthcare professionals where appropriate. Her experience is particularly valuable when families are navigating different professional recommendations or when support across home, school and healthcare settings needs to be considered together.

Her clinical career includes extensive work in speech-language development, auditory processing and audiology, alongside more than a decade running her own private therapy and educational practice. Earlier roles included the National University Hospital in Singapore and New Zealand's Ministry of Education. She continues her specialist clinical practice at Amazing Hearing, where she sees select clients for speech-language therapy and audiology.
